Paula Fellingham here! One of the things I love to do is share life-changing quotes, stories, and messages with people like you who appreciate them. About a year ago, I shared the piece below. It’s one of my favorites and the most frequently requested short messages in my book, “Believe It! Become It!”.
It was written by Kent Keith. It hung in Mother Teresa’s Calcutta office for many years. Mother Teresa said she read it often…… (I LOVE it!)
People are often unreasonable and self-centered.
Forgive them, anyway.
If you are kind, people may accuse you of ulterior motives.
Be kind, anyway.
If you are honest, people may cheat you.
Be honest, anyway.
If you find happiness, people may be jealous.
Be happy, anyway.
The good you do today may be forgotten tomorrow.
Do good, anyway.
Give the world the best you have and it may never be enough.
Give your best, anyway.
For you see, in the end, it’s between you and God.
It never was between you and them, anyway.
I send you my love………
